What we offer: Standard conversion of books to one or more formats as required by you. We retain (unless restricted by the format) all your formatting, image placement, etc., and includes all metadata embedded where required.Available formats:PDF ebook, MOBI (Kindle), ePub. Essentially those are the “must-have” formats that cover over 90% of the demand for ebooks. There are other formats, like HTML, LIT, PDB, PRC and we can convert to those if you have a need for them.
Textbook-style books and/or books with multiple images/illustrations: We convert textbooks and books with multiple images, however these require more work than fiction-style books which are all text and regular formatting. We need to quote these projects on a book-by-book basis, since it depends on the content and the amount of work needed. Converting from PDF: We provide PDF-to-text doc services. Combine this with eBook conversion to give you multiple eBook formats from a submitted PDF. Again, because of extra work involved, email for a quote – jim (at) jimandzetta.com. We do need to review the source file first in order to give a firm quote.
Back-Catalogue: If you have a back-catalogue that you need converted, please email us.
Rights: This is important. We will only provide this service to the company or person who holds the appropriate rights to the work being compiled/converted. For example, if you have bought a book in PDF format and want us to convert that to another format for you, sorry, but you are out of luck. However, if you are a publisher or author who has the digital rights to the book you are publishing, then we can provide this service for you.
What next? All we need from you is a clean, formatted RTF or Word file, plus any image files used in your book – including the cover, or a PDF or HTML file if that is your only source file. We do the rest. If you don’t have a formatted file (text laid out as you want it to appear) we can do that for you at an additional charge, please enquire first.

PRINT SERVICES
TYPESETTING/LAYOUT: We will take your file and prepare it for printing, including design elements, page layouts, headers, footers, margins, font and font size etc., and in line with any specific file requirements by your printer of choice. We have provided files to the standards expected by the likes of Lightning Source, Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), Lulu, Bang, and others including independent printers.
We do reserve the right to refuse any manuscript that it is not in a reasonable condition. What that means is a condition where we cannot ascertain, for example, where paragraph or page breaks should be, or if there is some missing information vital to a published book (copyright data, etc.). We will return the manuscript without charge if that’s the case for revision and resubmission.
Disclaimer: We are not responsible for any grammatical or editing errors that pre-exist in any file that is sent to us. We can only typeset what you send us. While we may bring to your attention anything obvious that we see, you are responsible for the editing and grammatical content of the text prior to sending it for typesetting.
COVER DESIGN/PRINT TEMPLATES: We can provide complete cover design for print books or provide print cover templates using existing suitable cover art/images.
