SERVICES PROVIDED

We will take your file and prepare it for printing and/or ebook compilation, including page layouts, headers, footers, margins, font and font size etc., and in line with any specific file requirements by your printer of choice.

What’s involved?: That pretty much depends on what you send us. The amount of work required is directly related to the condition of the text you send us. You may be sending us bare, edited text - which will require complete formatting and layout - or you if you send us a file that is “clean” - meaning you have paragraph/indent settings in place, page breaks embedded etc., which clealry requires less work

How long does it take?: Again, that will depend on the condition of the text you send. Our prior concern, at all times, is to provide you with a ready-to go file that meets your needs and your satisfaction. The job is about time, and it can take two to four hours, sometimes longer, to properly complete the job.
We do reserve the right to refuse any manuscript that it is not in a reasonable condition. What that means is a condition where we cannot ascertain, for example, where paragraph or page breaks should be, or if there is some missing information vital to a published book (copyright data, etc.). We will return the manuscript without charge if that’s the case.

Disclaimer: We are not responsible for any grammatical or editing errors that pre-exist in any file that is sent to us. We can only typeset what you send us. While we may bring to your attention anything obvious that we see, you are responsibility for the editing and grammatical content of the text prior to sending it for typesetting.

PRICING: We will quote you a price based on 20p/30c to 35p/50c per page (estimated final page count). What you will get is a fixed quote, prior to work starting, so you know what your job is going to cost and you don’t get any nasty surprises!
